Gold Educational Analysis Update - 19/01/2025

Kindly refer to the attached educational analysis above for your review.

Gold 18hour timeframe

In our analysis from the previous week, we outlined two key areas where gold was expected to potentially experience a pullback before resuming its bullish momentum towards the 2715–2730 range. The first area of interest was between 2663 and 2680, while the second zone was identified between 2630 and 2642.

The price action unfolded with a drop to 2656, slightly below our initial designated range. However, from this point, gold reversed sharply and entered a bullish phase, rising to 2724.

This upward movement represents a substantial rally of approximately 1000 pips from our original identified range of 2609–2615, showcasing the strength of the bullish trend following the initial pullback.

GOLD 4hour Timeframe,

As observed, gold is currently maintaining a bullish market structure. For educational purposes, I have identified two potential areas where gold may retrace before continuing its upward movement. Additionally, on the daily timeframe, we can see that liquidity remains above the current price, particularly around the 2730 level, suggesting that there is still potential for price to reach that area as part of its ongoing bullish trend.

The first area of interest is between 2691 and 2698. This zone is significant due to the presence of multiple order blocks across various timeframes. Additionally, it coincides with the 40% to 50% discounted price level, providing further validation. If price approaches this area, it would be prudent to wait for a clear break of structure on lower timeframes before considering any entry.

The second area is between 2669 and 2677, where we also observe order blocks on the 1-hour, 2-hour, 4-hour, and 23-hour charts. Moreover, this range aligns with the 71% to 78% discounted price level, adding further confluence. Similarly, If price approaches this area, it would be prudent to wait for a clear break of structure on lower timeframes before considering any entry.
